Synopsis: |
A young boy is given a set of tin soldiers for his birthday by the family's cook. In Toyland, the other toys welcome the soldiers. The little Tin Soldier is immediately attracted to the Ballerina, but an evil Goblin has designs on her as well. That night the little Tin Soldier falls from the window ledge into a drain and is rushed out to sea in a paper boat. Under the water, King and Queen Neptune are horrified that the Tin Soldier has invaded their territory. They instruct him to be eaten immediately. He is swallowed by a big fish. Back in Toyland the Goblin prepares to marry the Ballerina. In the kitchen, the young boy arrives home with a fish for dinner. When Cook opens it she discovers the missing Toy Soldier inside. He returns to Toyland to stop the wedding of the Goblin and Ballerina and marries her himself. |
